I was honored to attend the Women in Business 2010 at the Crystal Gardens! It was an amazing experience, to be around such skilled, talented, and confident local women.

Bipolar Babe Photoshoot || Victoria BC's Makeup

Bipolar Babe had a promotional photo-shoot, for there website, and Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry was asked to do the makeup.  Bipolar Babe is a mental health awareness and educational project aimed at myth-busting and stigma stomping!  Andrea, the founder, did an amazing job organizing the teens for the shoot.  I had a great team to work with, Jenn hairstylist from The Hair Garden Salon, Cyler photographer from White Apple Weddings, and the teens that woke up early on a Sunday!  

Vancouver Island Bridal Exhibition || Victoria BC's Wedding Hairstylist.

Last month, I was Victoria BC's Wedding Hairstylist for the Queen Design House fashion show in the Vancouver Island Bridal Exhibition.  I was scheduled to do four models hair, it turned into thirteen models in three hours, it was quite the process.  The show was a success, it was a pleasure to work with such beautiful models, Maureen the designer, and the team at Talons Nail Evolution. 

Last Wedding Fair!

I was asked by the Four Points by Sheraton, to be one of the preferred suppliers for there Bridal Fair held on Sunday.  It was a great event, I met many of Victoria's talented vendors, one being Deb, who specializes in Wedding Cakes.  Her cakes are fabulous, she works hands on with her brides, designing their dream cake!  Below is an email she sent out to her clients this afternoon.
