Australian Sharon Rai Brides! - Victoria BC

Carrie & Monica, twin sisters, flew in from Australia to get married at The Lodge at Weirs Beach here in Victoria, BC.  Not only do they share the same birthday, now they share the same wedding date!  It was great, both sisters, bridesmaids, and brides, on the same day.  I met the ladies a few days before their wedding at the studio, we had a wedding day preview for each of them, this is when the bride and I spend time on their look, customizing their vision, and ensuring everything is perfect on the wedding day.

The Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry team arrived in the morning with, Monica and her bridal party first, and Carrie and her party in the afternoon.  Monica, the first bride, has shoulder length hair, we added extensions to giver her the fullness and length.  With her makeup, we went heavier on the eyes, and kept everything else flawless.  Carrie was second to walk down the aisle, we kept her makeup soft, defining her eye.

It was a pleasure working with such gorgeous ladies, wishing you all the best! Paul Tedrick & Jesse Holand, did a great job on the photography.

Victoria BC Event - Sharon Rai Makeup Artist

L'oreal Paris contacted Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry for their new color launch event at Carreiro's, a hair studio downtown Victoria, BC.    The models were to have flawless skin, pale lips, with soft green smokey eyes.

Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry was asked to work on a Bella Boudoir photo-shoot as their hairstylist.  As always it was great to work with Karen McNeil, and the ladies were fabulous!  Here is what they had to say:

Fall Magazine Shoot - Victoria BC Makeup Artist

Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry, worked on a vampire inspired photo-shoot for the fall.  Alongside Jennifer Dickinson, a talented fashion photographer, Seungmin Yoo, hairstylist, and the beautiful model, Kate.  Makeup was kept light on the eyes, yet defining the lash-line with a strong lip, finishing with luscious hair.  Great look for the fall, and a great team to work with!

Bridal Shower - Vancouver BC.

My siblings hosted a Jack & Jill shower, at the beginning of July for Kal & I.

I was quite impressed with the theme of the shower, inside was diamonds, tiffany's, & cocktails, outside was bbq, meat, and beer, they know us oh so well!  Games were played, advice was given, food was eaten, drinks were drank and Sharon - spoiled!

Thank you to all the lovely ladies & gents for coming out it was a blast!

Sikh & Hindu Wedding, Victoria BC.

The first wedding in June was Pia & Rajans in Victoria, BC.  The day turned out to be fabulous.  In the early morning, Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry arrived, styling Pia for her Sikh Ceremony, then in the afternoon, for her Hindu Ceremony in Bear Mountain.  Followed by the next day, getting her all dolled up for her reception!  The wedding & reception was blogged by their photographers EA Photography.  Congratulations Pia & Rajan you two looked amazing!
