"I wanted to look perfect on my wedding day and just like most brides I was very nervous. I first saw Sharon’s work on her website and knew right way I wanted to work with her.  We had the wedding in Victoria, BC and I’m from San Diego, CA so finding the right person from so far away was nerve wracking!   I spoke with her on the phone, and met with her when I came to Victoria a few days before the wedding, Sharon was truly amazing and made me feel completely at ease.  The morning of the wedding she came to my home at 4 am and spent the next 4 hours giving me the perfect look.   Her calm energy, organization, and knowhow immediately took the pressure off.  All I had to do was sit back and let her perform her magic!  She created two entirely different looks for me; one for my wedding and another for my reception.  Each one captured the energy, romance, excitement, and glamour I was looking for.  She captured my vision, and best of all, my makeup and hair lasted all day under the sun, lights, while dancing, and eating!

  To anyone considering using Sharon, my recommendation is to do it.  She listens to your opinions, understands your wants, and works as hard as she can to make the day as special as you expect it to be.  Most importantly she’s sweet, so easy to work with, and very accommodating.  I felt like a princess thru the entire day and without her help I know my look would never have felt complete!"

To those considering Sharon Rai as their makeup and hair artists. Honestly, do it, you wont regret it!
My cousin recommended Sharon to me when I first started looking for a hair and makeup artist for my wedding. At the very first consultation Sharon was super nice, patient and not pushy at all which was opposite to how other makeup and hair artists meetings had gone. I booked her as soon as I could and the wedding day consult couldn't come fast enough. When it did my mom and I went to Sharon's Studio where we were treated like friends rather than clients. She had treats and tea ready for us and helped me pick out my perfect look along with a fun photo shoot after. Finally the wedding day came and Sharon arrived at my parents house bright and early at 4am. Sharon was calm and cool and had me ready earlier than expected. I knew I looked great and honestly the gasps and oohs and aahs from everyone at my house felt awesome! When it came time to leave the house things became a bit chaotic but Sharon quickly came to me to say bye and skip out the mayhem. I wish I could have said thank you properly which is the reason i'm writing this testimonial.  My look lasted all day, my dupatta didn't move an inch and tourists were stopping me on the street and commenting on my outfit and hair and makeup. Sikh & Hindu Wedding, Victoria BC.

The first wedding in June was Pia & Rajans in Victoria, BC.  The day turned out to be fabulous.  In the early morning, Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry arrived, styling Pia for her Sikh Ceremony, then in the afternoon, for her Hindu Ceremony in Bear Mountain.  Followed by the next day, getting her all dolled up for her reception!  The wedding & reception was blogged by their photographers EA Photography.  Congratulations Pia & Rajan you two looked amazing!
