Before hiring Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry to stylize my wedding look, I was worried about my makeup! I don’t really wear any and had no idea what to do. I had hired an amazing photographer and wanted too look great in my wedding photos. When you spend a lot of money on a photographer, you want to look your best.  Sharon knew what make up would look best in photos and also listened to my ideas about how I wanted to look on the day.

From her services, I received hair and make up for myself and my mother in law and hair for both of my bridesmaids. I also did a wedding day preview where we experimented with different make up & hair and took photos to see how I would look on the day.

Hiring Sharon to do my hair and make up was a great decision. My day was totally stress free! I got compliments on my make up from everyone, as did my mother in law. Her transformation was amazing! I felt absolutely beautiful and all I had to do was minor touch ups here and there. When you look great, nothing else matters on your wedding day!

My advice for those thinking of hiring Sharon and her team is do it! Sharon is professional and knowledgeable. When you become a Sharon Rai Bride, you are given access to her website where you can ask questions. Sharon responded promptly to any questions I had. Having someone who could do both hair and make up was important to me because I wanted someone who could see my overall vision and execute it. "My wedding was Magical, it was everything we had wanted and more... Everything came together so nicely, My bridal party and I really enjoyed getting ready with the SR Team in the morning.  We had them come on-location, it made it that much more exciting and memorable, it was really a stress-free day.  My bridesmaids and I even had a chance to have a margarita each that morning cause we were all soo relaxed.  I could never imagine having to get ready on our own, that would just have been a mess of grumpy girls not happy with their hair or rushing out the door with just lipstick on our lips.

Tosca Reno comes to Victoria BC || Celebrity Makeup Artist

Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry had the pleasure to work with Tosca Reno, A New York Times best selling author of Eat - Clean Diet book series, a motivational speaker and a media personality.  She arrived to Victoria, BC for the first ever, Fitness & Figure Show held by Island Fit Life.  Tosca was the guest speaker, sharing her story and discussing her Eat-Clean Diet.

She is gorgeous, and inspiring, it was an honor to work with her!  We arrived on-location to the Hotel Grand Pacific downtown Victoria.  For Tosca, we did smokey eyes, flawless glowy skin, and a beautiful updo with her hair.

Tosca, and her husband, Robert Kennedy, from Robert Kennedy Publishing, were in Victoria, for less than 12 hours, and then headed to New York to be on Good Morning America Health, The Better Show & Good Day New York.

Amazing how great she looks, with little sleep, and alot of traveling!  A true inspiration!

Before meeting with Sharon I was not sure what to expect. The times I had my hair and make-up professionally done in the past was definitely hit and miss. "I wanted to look perfect on my wedding day and just like most brides I was very nervous. I first saw Sharon’s work on her website and knew right way I wanted to work with her.  We had the wedding in Victoria, BC and I’m from San Diego, CA so finding the right person from so far away was nerve wracking!   I spoke with her on the phone, and met with her when I came to Victoria a few days before the wedding, Sharon was truly amazing and made me feel completely at ease.  The morning of the wedding she came to my home at 4 am and spent the next 4 hours giving me the perfect look.   Her calm energy, organization, and knowhow immediately took the pressure off.  All I had to do was sit back and let her perform her magic!  She created two entirely different looks for me; one for my wedding and another for my reception.  Each one captured the energy, romance, excitement, and glamour I was looking for.  She captured my vision, and best of all, my makeup and hair lasted all day under the sun, lights, while dancing, and eating!
