Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry stylized Krista and her bridal party for her beautiful fall wedding.  They arrived to the studio, in the morning, and headed to Bear Mountain soon after for the wedding ceremony.  Krista was great to work with, she knew exactly what she wanted.  We created her vision in June during her wedding day preview, needless to say she loved it!  Below is a picture from Krista's preview:

She wanted her hair, to have soft curl, with lots of volume, her makeup to be focused on her eyes, and her skin to be simply radiant. Below is the blushing bride, while recreating her look on the wedding day.

SR Westshore Bride - Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup

On 10.10.10 early Sunday morning, Ameila, and her bridal party arrived in-studio to prepare for her wedding day with Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry.  Jenna from Jenna & Tristan Photography, and Lindsay from Annabel Lee Events also joined in, a fun morning, with great company!  With Amelia's look we gave her a beautiful fall lip, keeping it the main focus, defined eyes, and paring it with a soft romantic up-do for her hair.  View more pictures of the beautiful bride.  Congratulations Amelia & Dan!

For the past two months, Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry had the pleasure to work with Jennifer Matterson, a Westshore ReMax Relator.  We first met for her wedding day preview, where we spent the day creating her look.  The wedding day preview includes full trials of hair, makeup, jewelry, dress, and photography, so the bride knows exactly what she will look like, and a great way to get exactly what she wants.  Here is a picture from Jennifer’s wedding day preview:

Fall and winter are my favorite wedding seasons of the year! They are for the ultimate chic bride with a love for trends and timeless elegance. Top Bridal Trends for Fall and Winter

Hair: Fall and winter hair is less about structure and all about movement. Let’s blend styles to create a relaxed romantic updo that truly expresses your personality. For ladies with short sassy sexy hair, a beautiful flower piece or jeweled accessory is the ultimate striking centerpiece. For brides with long beautiful hair, dare to bare your tresses in silky layers or soft bouncy curls. But be sure to steer clear of the straightening iron this season! Instead, create a straight but voluminous look by creating a few loose waves with velcro rollers or winding your hair around a full-barreled curling iron.

Skin: Fall and winter bridal skin is clean and matte with cheek colour looking very subtle. Soft and sexy complexion is the key for this earthy season, with a hint of colour on the eyes.

Lips: Indulge your lips in dark berry tones and rich reds for a regal elegance.

Eyes: It’s all about the eyes! This season’s brides are adorned with beautiful smokey eyes. Touch Up Kit: A wedding day MUST! Carry a touch-up kit with concealer, pressed powder, lipstick or gloss, lip liner, tissues, and mints.  Make sure you also have a mini sewing kit (for emergency clothing fixes like a dropped hem or popped button), static spray, a lint remover and pre-wrapped wipes to remove makeup and food stains.
