Videographer || Vancouver Hair & Makeup Artist

Kal & I were excited to pick a videographer for the wedding!  We wanted the day to be captured in our eyes, we aren't fans of the traditional wedding video.  I personally find they are long and time consuming.  I looked into many different vendors, trying to find something unique, short, sweet, with style and out of the norm.  After a few months of research, I happened to come across Glimmer Films Wedding Cinema, they were exactly what we were looking for, and fit the criteria perfectly.  I spoke with Kamal Sandur, she made the booking process easy.  Im excited to work with them, stay tuned for footage from 'Sharon & Kal's big fat indian wedding'.

'I WANT A MAKEOVER PARTY!' Contest

Carly McLaughlin was the winner of our January contest 'I WANT A MAKEOVER PARTY!'.  All she did to enter was subscribe to the Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry promotion page.  She came to the studio with her two girlfriends, sipped on champagne, enjoyed gourmet appetizers, all while being pampered.  An amazing group to work on, here is Carly's experience!

"I was thrilled to discover I'd won a makeover party with Sharon!  I'm not much of a girly-girl and I don't splurge on beauty products or treatments, so I was excited to win something that forced me to have some 'me time'.  It was nice to be able to invite two girlfriends along for the experience; I chose two of my Nursing classmates who I felt deserved a night away from all the hard work and studying we do, Suzanne and Andrea.  We all had a fun evening having our hair and makeup done, and as we were beautified we sipped on champagne and nibbled from a fruit and cheese platter Sharon put out for us.  She put genuine effort into making us feel comfortable and welcome, and her easy-going personality and confidence made it a wonderful experience.  Sharon is great at what she does, and she exudes professionalism.  We were very well taken care of and thrilled with our makeovers.  All three of us are very thankful for such a memorable time and will definitely recommend Sharon to others!"
