L'Oreal Professional Makeup Artist - Vancouver BC

Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry was asked to do makeup for the Show Off - L'Oreal Professional Colour Trophy Semi-Finals Presentation in downtown Vancouver, BC at the Vogue Theatre.  This event brings together salons from across BC to show off their talents.  We worked with incredible hairstylists Amie & Kelsey from Carreiro the Studio in Victoria BC.  The team was great to work with, we met at the Howard Johnson on Granville.  Marina Ma, our beautiful model, had great features to work with, for makeup, we defined and sculpted, keeping her eyes bold with a thick black liner.

The team came in First place, meaning hairstylists Amie & Kelsey are off to Montreal, to compete for the Finals.

Hatley Castle Preferred Bridal Hairstylist & Bridal Makeup Artist - Victoria BC

Los Angeles bride, Tammy, came to Victoria BC, this past week, to marry the man of her dreams at the Hatley Castle.  We first met Tammy, a year in a half ago, when she was shopping around for Wedding Vendors, as we specialize in Asian bridal, we were her choice!  She arrived in-studio with her fiance and sister a few days before  her wedding, where we did a full trial of hair & makeup, she came in with an idea, and we took those ideas, and created the look she loved!  

On the wedding day, Tammy & her bridal party arrived in-studio early morning coming from the Inn at Laurel Point, where the pampering began with the SR team, tea, refreshments, appetizers, and some yummy treats!  

Congratulations Tammy & Brian, you guys are perfect together, wishing you both all the best!

Reynolds High School Prom Hairstylist & Prom Makeup Artist

The Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry Team had the pleasure of being part of beautiful model, Brooke Anderson's Grad Makeover Party for her Reynolds high-school prom in Victoria, BC at the Inn at Laurel Point.  Brooke was one of the original SR Models, three years ago, so we were honored to be the artists chosen for her Grad Party.  We arrived on-location creating unique looks for her and twelve of her girlfriends.  A great way to be pampered before a big night, with friends, family, food & refreshments, and a team of skilled artists!  The dresses were beautiful, the girls were fantastic - including the parents!  View images from the Grad Party Makeover!

Romance at the English Inn || Bridal Makeup & Bridal Hair - Sharon Rai

Sharon Rai Hair & Makeup Artistry had the pleasure to work alongside some of Victoria's finest in the Wedding Industry, for a romantic shoot at the English Inn, in Victoria, BC.  The theme of the shoot was love & literature inspired by Vintage & Sweets, with antique paper, soft palette of colors, and romanic vintage inspired hair & makeup.

Blush Bridal Boutique with the wedding gown, Tetrik Apparel made the beautiful headpiece which incorporated the theme, Verbena Floral Design created   fabulous floral arrangements,  including the gorgeous bridal bouquet.  The yummy treats, which we all loved, were by Pink Sugar Cupcakes.  Excited to see the images, from the talented eye of, Karen McNeil Photography.  View more images of the beautiful Terra.
